It's bubbling in the bass player department! 23.12.2010 Merry christmas to you fuckers! In the spring (before the horror of 2 days and 3 gigs) Jimmy decided to concentrate in his grind project - Spawn from Deceit, so no bass player for us anymore. We'd already started shooting the video for Upside Clown. The savior with his white bicycle was Eetu Palomaa, who declared his willingness to play bass. A bit more video shooting and rehearsals later the Big Emptiness took back Eetu in record time, was it a week or two. One of the video artists, Ville Huusko (who also masters string instruments), decide to give bass a try! Here's an advice to other bands - do NOT start shooting a video, you will have to sacrifice a few bass players to the altar of pixels. We also visited The Extreme Infernal Eye of the Hellish Vortex, twice. This is the name of the middle of nowhere where Schmorf gathers to hide from the Big Emptiness, and compose and plan our next devious moves. These times we worked on the new release. The first visit brought a blueprint to the next release, the second we almost completed the songs (common to both visits was a 'end-of-the-world -hangover'). Now kids - get back to your freezers, and remember to burn the beard off of St. Nick tomorrow! He's not been nice either!
19.10.2010 Watch the video from Youtube HERE. About making of the video, HOLY SHIT. As always, every pixel of the end product was finetuned to the point of total nervous breakdown. Everything was made by Schmorf, filming, editing, FX, script, sets, props etc. The entire video (and song, for that matter) is a kind of a purification rite to the whole band, an end of an era. Sounds awfully official, but equals to the fact that we started to get pissed with dildos and clown masks. The ultimate reason for making this video was to gather knowledge and knowhow for the next release, that has been in the plans for a while now. Now we KNOW that it's possible.
26.3.2010 Antti wrote a few great songs, which we just had to share with y'all! The three song release can be heard on the player, and all of the production is entirely Schmorf, from composing to cover art. The postproduction made the whole band VERY happy, but what can you do - you try to make it half-shitty, but you end up with A class stuff. Oh well. Release info HERE.
Three new songs - two gigs - one band... 6.3.2010 A headline doesn't get more corny than that... More of the corny stuff HERE, plus new songs in the player!
