Downtown Metal is now succesfully out there, so with extreme relish we stand back and watch it go! The collection has 19 songs from bands around the world, and the quality of the songs is amazingly high. Just listen to it.

Downtown Metal will be heard by radio stations, promotors, record companies and so forth. The name Schmorf gets around at least!

The other piece of news comes to us straight from the Great Emptiness. Those who do not know what that is, check out the band history. This time GE has blessed us without an offering, so something we've had to do right. Five becomes six. An update to come...

After a long and heavy battle, HERE IT IS.

Since august, the skirmish has been ongoing to finish this, and now we are at the threshold of release. There is a million stories about making of it, and luckily they are archived at Studio Diaries.

Schmorfine now available in USA!

We are proud to announce the participation of Schmorf in Downtown Metal compilation album, released in the US of A!

There is a new page turning in the history of the band, and this time it means exposure in the biggest of markets. In plain english - let's all make the most of it - you can help too!

Thanks to our buddy ol' pal Johnny Fakk, we got ourselves brand spankin' new webpages! Here's a quick manual to them:

Commenting. Every page has its own comments at the bottom, so you rap away!

Forum. Here you can find blogs and some quick newsfalshes about everything Schmorf. The forum functions as an 'extension' of the webpages, and is for them who want to know absolutely everything there is.

Dr Schmorf. This is nothing new for the older fans. If there is something bothering you, or you just want to challenge the Doc to a intellectual fencing fight, here's your chance! Just choose the right category and follow the instructions.

Officials. This is the storage of promopics, newspaper articles, reviews, business cards... Everything official. Surprise.

All new stuff will be informed on the front page, so check it out on a regular basis. And by the way, the top navigation has a few easter eggs hidden in it, try if you can find them all...

Get your floor washing devices out, because new music is killing you fast and securely. The pool of gore on the floor is the insides of your skull, you see!

We added a few 'almost done'-versions of songs from the upcoming 'Artificial Nomadic Audio Leverage'-album. And just to show you how little we care, we put up a feedback -section on the bottom of the pages, so you can drop us a few lines about the new shit.

The recording is almost done, and the due date is in March. Check out STUDIO DIARIES, too.
